Introducing Dr. Dennis Sweet
My life was destined to be different than most from early on.
My mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was a child. As her condition deteriorated over the years, I became all too familiar with the “medical” profession ranging from neurologists to medical doctors and specialists.
I also became familiar with Chiropractic care. Even as a child it was obvious to me that although she was given prescription drug after drug, what seemed to help her the most was Chiropractic. Just imagine — relief of MS symptoms naturally without drugs, pills, potions or lotions — just allowing the body to innately function by removing nerve interference.
This amazing ability to help the body heal itself piqued my interest and led me to the career in Chiropractic that I enjoy today.
I graduated Cum Laude from Palmer-West Chiropractic College in San Jose, California in 1992 and have been in private practice in the Tacoma/Lakewood area since 1993. I have been at Chittenden Chiropractic since 1999.
My philosophical and practice goals are simple: Remove nerve interference that may be causing the body to mal-function, restoring proper nerve flow, and allowing the body’s own healing properties to function normally.
My Goal
My first goal is to give needed pain or symptom relief. This occurs only when the nervous system, which controls everything, is functioning optimally. This allows appropriate communication between the brain and body, and then the healing process can begin.
My wife and I were married in 1993 and we have two beautiful daughters. We enjoy family outings, church activities, sports and recreation together. Additionally we have a small apple orchard from which we sell apples and apple cider in the Summer and Fall.
Chiropractic care is a lifestyle for me and my family. My wife, my daughters and I are all adjusted on a regular basis to maintain our optimum levels of health and wellness. A healthy diet and exercise are also key components to our health as well.
After 15 years in practice, I consider myself blessed and honored to be able to have helped hundreds of people discover the health benefits of Chiropractic for their own lives. I would love the opportunity to be of service to you and your family. Give our office a call to schedule an appointment today. I look forward to meeting you soon!
